Let's work together.
To partner up, please go ahead and send us an email directly at literacymovement4more@gmail.com
Who we partner with:
LM4M establishes partnerships with organizations that specialize in education, children’s care, and library or community development. Examples of organizations we’ve worked with in the past have been public primary and secondary schools, international NGO’s and non-profit organizations, private orphanages, and government- funded children’s homes. You can see a list of our partners HERE.
Reaching out:
If your organization or institution has the existing infrastructure to host a library of 500+ books and/or 5-10+ laptops, then we’ll start an inquiry on your call to action. Examples of necessary infrastructure for a library space would be: shelves, bins, reading tables, chairs or sitting equipment, and electricity outlets.
Please be sure to include a point of contact in your email and to loop in all key stakeholders who you believe will be important in beginning a sustainable partnership. For example, organization leaders, educators, and key potential end-users of the library such as students or community members may be people who you may want to include on your email.

Got a question? We have answers!
What kind of donations does LM4M accept?
+
LM4M takes financial, book, technology, and school supply donations. Money can be donated through paypal, or a check can be made out to Literacy Movement 4 More Inc. and mailed to 4 Orchid Dr, Plainsboro NJ 08536. Books, technology, and school supplies should be gently used or brand new.
How does LM4M create libraries?
+
LM4M operates on a sustainable, partner-based model to ensure long-lasting impact of our libraries. We identify, connect with, and vet our partners to ensure that they meet our partner guidelines, wherever they may be based.
We amass the majority of our donations in the United States and ship them to our partners on a project-by-project basis. Donations are also connected in partner countries, where they are shipped internally to our libraries. To ensure the continuity of our libraries, we work with our partner institutions and the communities they serve to track reading progress and library usage, and train key stakeholders in best library practices.
I don’t have books, technology, or money to donate, but I would like to support LM4M. How can I help?
+
LM4M is always looking for volunteers to join our team! Some examples of volunteer work would be: organizing book drives, helping organize and sort through donations, creating fundraising campaigns, and helping recruit partners, donors, and more volunteers.
LM4M is also invested in youth career development. If you are a high school student invested in our mission and interested in a part-time internship with our team, please shoot us an email directly at literacymovement4more@gmail.com.
Please note that while we do not have the financial resources to be able to transport volunteers, we do welcome volunteers who are willing to cover their travel expenses to help us build libraries abroad.
In what countries does LM4M start libraries?
+
To date, we’ve created libraries in six countries spanning four continents. Namely: The USA, the Bahamas, England, Greece, South Africa, and India. You can check out our interactive map of libraries HERE.
LM4M chooses projects not based on country but based on the strength of our relationship with our partners. So, the location of the libraries are finalized on a case-by-case basis.
What age group are your libraries targeting?
+
LM4M mainly receives requests for partnerships from primary or secondary schools and various institutions for children. For this reason, we put a particular focus on collecting children’s books and textbooks to foster early children’s literacy and educational endeavors.
Why send only books in English?
+
We operate in Anglophone countries where English is a widely-used language, or with institutions that encourage education in English. This allows us to standardize the donations taken in and better focus efforts in impactful ways.
